Where to start

No set path. Just a next step.

If you haven't exercised for a while, Foundation Mobility, Foundation Balance & Core and Foundations of Strength are a good place to begin. When you're ready, step up to Stronger for Life. Foundation Active fits in alongside any of them.

You move on when it feels right for you, not on a schedule. If you have a health condition or an injury, check with your GP or physio before you start, and let us know at your induction.

Timetable coming soon. Classes and times may change as we learn what suits members.

Mobility · Flexibility · Joint preparation

Foundation Mobility

A whole-body mobility and stretching class that takes your joints gently through a comfortable range of movement. A good way to loosen up and get ready for the day.

Learn · Build · Gain confidence

Foundations of Strength

For anyone new to strength training, or coming back after a long break. You'll learn the basic movements step by step and build up gradually, so you can handle weights safely and with confidence.

Progressive strength · Capacity · Independence

Stronger for Life

The next step after Foundations of Strength. You'll gradually work with more weight and more challenging movements, building the strength you use every day: getting up, carrying, lifting and climbing stairs.

Balance · Stability · Coordination · Core

Foundation Balance & Core

A steady, controlled class for balance, coordination and core strength. Expect standing balance work, carries and controlled stepping, with support close by and harder options as you improve.

Low-impact cardio · Light resistance · Conditioning

Foundation Active

Keep moving without the jumping. Light dumbbells, bands and steps build your fitness and stamina, with low-impact options all the way through.
